bella's fudgery came to life in Dec 2017, after trialling some homemade white chocolate, jelly tot and marshmellow fudge as Christmas gifts for my family
it didn't take long before we had REQUESTS FROM FRIENDS OF FAMILY ASKING IF THEY COULD BUY SOME.
For the next few months, I PLAYED AROUND WITH a few DIFFERENT recipes, and before I knew it, I had a fudge business, making fabulous flavours that you wouldn't be able to buy in a shop...and that's what BELLA'S FUDGERY IS ALL ABOUT.
We are fully certified and registered with South Northants and Cherwell Council (Soon to be West Northamptonshire). We are fully insured and We are proud to retain our 5-star food handling certificate, not forgetting our level 2 food and hygiene certificate, plus advanced allergen training. We know where every ingredient has come from in every one of our batches, so you're always in safe hands.
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP?
IF YOU CAN RESIST THE OVERWHELMING URGE TO EAT IT WITHIN 24 HOURS, YOUR FUDGE CAN LAST FOR QUITE SOME TIME.
We recommend, storing your fudge IN A COOL DARK PLACE (NOT UNDER THE PATIO, BUT A KITCHEN CUPBOARD IT PERFECT), tightly wrapped in plastic WRAP (Like clingfilm or our counter wrap) to prevent it from being exposed to air. FOR MOST FUDGES This will give IT up to a 3-month shelf life However, fudges THAT CONTAIN ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS (NORMALLY OUR DELUXE RANGE, SUCH AS FRUITS) may expire before this.
PutTING OUR fudge in the refrigerator will LIKELY DRY YOUR FUDGE OUT AND change the taste TOO. WE RECOMMEND LIMITING CHILL TIME TO A FEW HOURS BEFORE EATING.
MY FUDGE IS TOO SOFT / HAS GONE HARD?
FUDGE TEXTURE CAN CHANGE WITH HUMIDITY. OUR RECIPE TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION ALTERING THE WATER CONTENT BASED ON AVERAGE AIR TEMPERATURE. THIS CAN MEAN ON HOTTER DAYS, YOU MAY FIND YOUR FUDGE SLIGHTLY SOFTER AND MORE STICKY TO TOUCH. IF YOU WOULD RATHER HARDEN IT UP, JUST POP IT INTO THE FRIDGE FOR A WHILE. BE CAREFUL NOT TO LEAVE IT IN THERE TOO LONG AS REFRIGERATION ABSORBS THE MOISTURE OF THE FUDGE WHICH CAN LEAVE IT CRUMBLY.
IF YOU HAVE A FUDGE THAT IS ALREADY HARD TO THE TOUCH AND YOU WOULD PREFER IT SOFTER, TRY MELTING IT (SEE BELOW)
CAN YOU MELT IT?
Yes! although we recommend that if you do have a multi-layered fudge, such as banoffee pie, it may not come out as good as it went in but yes, fudge can be melted in the microwave, on short 15 second blasts (to prevent burning fudge). Ensure the fudge is mixed thoroughly to prevent hot spots, but once completed, you can drizzle it over anything you like (avoid pets and children).
IS IT VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN FRIENDLY?
Some of our fudges are vegetarian, however, at this time, we have not mastered our Vegan mix.

DO YOU CATER FOR ALLERGIES & INTOLERANCES?
Yes. We cater for all 14 main allergies with the exception of Dairy/Lactose, AS All of our fudges contain dairy.
